What is an Exchange?
BCryptocurrency or Digital Currency Exchange (DCE) is a company that allows consumers to swap cryptocurrency or digital currency for other assets, such as traditional fiat money or other digital currencies. Exchanges may allow credit card payments, wire transfers or other types of payment in return for digital currency or cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency exchange may be a market maker that usually takes the bid–ask spreads as a transaction commission for the service or, as a competing site, merely charges fees.
